I know I have at least a hockey stick and puck picture that I did in boy's room some time ago, but cannot locate that at the moment, so I guess my tribute to the Bruin's being in the playoffs, will have to wait.

I did, however, manage to find a few Red Sox themed walls that I have done over the years.  This is a popular one, the shirt over the bed and the billboard with the child's picture, up to bat.

This room features a bright red shirt over the child's bed, which is adorned with various baseball pillows.  A trompe l'oeil baseball cap and hook is on the wall to the far right.

The Green Monster wall is another favorite many kids want in their rooms!

Tomorrow I will be back reporting on a new job I am starting.  Lots of prep to be done before the final finishes begin, so I will be doing a lot of patching and priming...and listening to my iPod to keep me entertained!

Break Before the Kitchen Job Begins

Sorry I have not posted lately, but I got bogged down with a lot of office work and consultations.  I last left off finishing up the work in that Back Hall/Mud Room.  I could not get a clear shot of the ferns I ended up doing, but will when I return in a few weeks to begin the work on the Kitchen/Breakfast Room walls.

On Wednesday I will begin the Phase 1 of a new job, a Family Room.  This first phase will just be a lot of prep work.  My clients are out of town so the actual finishes will be applied when they return.  I will start posting about that job on Thursday.

In the meantime, since the Boston sports scene is hopping these days, I thought I'd pay a little tribute to my fav teams.

With the Celtics in the playoffs, my client who had me paint this sports shirt mural in their children's playroom a few years ago, must be quite happy!

This basket ball hoop with assorted shoes and balls below was also done in the same playroom.

Yesterday, was the annual Boston Marathon. 
This silhouette of a runner, was done as part of a series in a fitness center.  Of course, I cannot overlook the Red Sox and Bruins, so tomorrow I will feature some baseball and hockey themed murals work.
